Obituaries are a paid service of the Daily Record. As of January 1, 2010 the cost is 30 cents per word and $5 for a photo. Clients must pre-pay by calling (509) 925-1414 druing business hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. The deadline is 4 p.m. for the following day's paper. The deadline for the Saturday edition is 2 p.m. Friday. The Daily Record does not publish on Sunday.
